I love those Cathedrals inside – so ornate but they look like a Church inside instead of an auditorium like so many Churches look inside these days. But like you say, God is present wherever we are ! Just to think how old the Cathedrals are – it’s amazing they could build them so beautiful hundreds of years ago!

We attended the Orthodox church around the corner and when I cut my finger on a glass that broke, we went to the local clinic. The doctor (a Russian woman) stitched up my hand. No charge, but we did have to buy the prescribed antibiotics at the local pharmacy. The sunsets were spectacular! Thanks for reminding me of a l lovely memory.
