Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appearance. Well articulated, as always. I have not climbed all the “killer hikes” as we called them, but have also hiked many miles in the Gorge. One of my favorites was the Eagle Creek Trail from the fish hatchery to Wahtum Lake-a great back pack, that we took one weekend to get us ready for a longer hike on the Pacific Crest Trail-I love the way you wrote about it, and having been there, makes even more vivid. Great pictures too! And the song, I also have sung that out on those trails!
