Dick and I and our friends Jim and Betty spent a week in a house in Io, a town on the island. We attended the Orthodox church around the corner and when I cut my finger on a glass that broke, we went to the local clinic. The doctor (a Russian woman) stitched up my hand. No charge, but we did have to buy the prescribed antibiotics at the local pharmacy. The sunsets were spectacular! Thanks for reminding me of a l lovely memory.
