I’m saddened that my son-in-law, a citizen and resident of England, refuses to watch it, claiming it to be “all lies.” His response gives me pause. Usually, he’s seems open minded and fair. But he has very firm and irreproachable ideas about the Royal Family to which he’ll not entertain other perspectives. Since he will not talk about it, I’m left to wonder what is truth and what is lie. Certainly, “The Crown, Spare, and the Harry and Meghan documentaries on Netflix seem to hold the truth especially since they include quoted headlines and telecasts.
All of this underscores the fact that only the human soul and the Word of God lasts forever.
