I’m so grateful we have this third Thursday of November set aside for this giving thanks.

I’d like to post some photos that tell the story.

I’m thankful for the beautiful sunrises we awaken to some mornings in the Pacific NW. Often it is gray and cloudy, but many times, it is lovely. Isn’t the pinkness of the sky sublime?

Delicious looking merengue pie.

How about those delicious desserts we enjoy on holidays/weekend treats. I’m looking forward to delicious pumpkin pie with lots of whipped cream on top tomorrow!

Music is an important part of my life. I enjoy choral music and looking forward to a choral concert somewhere during the Christmas season. Above is the Omaha Symphony–my cousin’s husband plays the tuba back right. Holland Hall in Omaha is a finely engineered acoustic hall of world renown.

That is me, second from the left, peering intently at my music. I enjoy playing with my friends at the East County Community Orchestra in Portland. It keeps my mind sharp, I meet great people, mostly seasoned citizens who are alert, alive, and loving music. I love singing worship songs at church, singing along with my favorite musical–maybe Sound of Music, or singing with Jim along with the oldies.

I’m thankful for travel. We’ve had multiple opportunities during the year. Here are a few of them.

I’m thankful for family. I’m blessed with many. In my forty year marriage to Bill Rudberg, we had two children and six grandchildren. Here’s a photo with me and my kids and the six grands.

Rudberg children and grands. I’m in the middle.

Here are some shots of the blended family. This one was taken at our wedding in December, 2013.

Not everyone was here, but most of the Mozena/Rudberg/
Graybill families

I’m thankful that two weeks from today, Jim and I will celebrate three years of wedded bliss. Really. We are so happy–and blessed.

We tied the knot!

I pray your Thanksgiving Day is filled with hope, love, good food, and that you experience the love and goodness of our God.
