I’ve become very interested in birds and bird watching. They’re quite visible outside my window, often perching on the electric wire. I hear the little sparrows, finding seeds in the rhododendron bushes right outside my office. I enjoy watching the hawks and even eagles soar in the sky. Small to large, God knows and remembers them!  I like this:

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows (Luke 12:6-7 NIV).

Today, I invite you to enjoy God’s creation. Revel in the  sunrises. Sunsets.  The birds. The flaming leaves on the trees. The flowers that are looking tired and ready to be put to their winter bed.

God made you so you could share in His creation, could love and laugh and know Him (Ted Griffen).
