We were on a rafting trip down the DesChutes River one hot August afternoon. We were having an exhilarating time riding the rapids, not minding getting wet.
Dogs can steal your heart and when they're gone, we're sad. There is One--the Creator and Savior--who is always present and whom we can go to anytime.

The best part about the trip was finally arriving at our destination.
Being in the beautiful outdoors has been refreshing and I've taken some time to just enjoy the beauty that surrounds me.
