Would we forget to pray for our kids and grands if we didn't have the bowl of rocks with their names on them? Probably not, but seeing their names on the rocks is a reminder to both of us to pray for our loved ones.
In our dark world, I'm focusing on the Light. It is my only hope. It can be yours, too.
When I'm affected with circumstances beyond my control, I go to the God of everything. The maker of the universe--and the storms of uncertainty.
The best part about the trip was finally arriving at our destination.
Being in the beautiful outdoors has been refreshing and I've taken some time to just enjoy the beauty that surrounds me.
That bright Saturday morning, with my daughter Erika, and her two sons, Andrew and Caleb, ages 8 and 9, we took that challenging hike. We'd scrambled up the 4500 feet to the top, walked across the flat, green meadow that was like a table.
We all have a time to live here on earth and then die.
What children are in your sphere of influence? Your own children? Grandchildren?
My favorite type of travel is still a road trip.
