Like a princess, she sat there, delighted to see me and Jim.
The best part about the trip was finally arriving at our destination.
Being in the beautiful outdoors has been refreshing and I've taken some time to just enjoy the beauty that surrounds me.
I searched for the Hebrew meaning of "still" and I discovered it means, “to slacken, let down, or cease.” While most of the psalm was written in the third person, this verse, was first person. God speaking directly to the reader--me and now, you as well.
It was a great trip. We enjoyed the warm sun one last time before the gray clouds and rainy winter that is ahead of us. We had our travel itch resolved and chased the sun on our flight back west. We were home. And though I love to travel, home is best.
It is good to travel, but also good to be home.
It was exactly as I remembered it. New memories, old ones to treasure.
At last, after three jet-lagged nights, we slept peacefully all night. Sleep is such a gift.
