What do I talk about when I share my story? I tell how God was with me during difficult times and joyous times. Not to get "wows." Not to get sympathy. Not even to sell my books, though I want them to read my story more completely. No. I talk to them because I want others to know that when they go through difficult times, they aren't alone.
There’s never a place where God is not and I’m so glad. He is there. For me. For you.

I love summer with a new flowers every day pushing out a new bloom or more.
“No, I’m sorry, you’re short $800.” I sighed, looked around the busy bank, not quite knowing what to do. I internally scolded myself. Why, oh why didn’t I recount the money?
Moving forward in life and even in my grieving process has its highs and lows.
I think about my own mother at least once a day. She was a good one. She was wise, intelligent, talented, loving, and beautiful too. I was proud of her. She wasn’t perfect but she was a very good mom.

So, instead of bemoaning the fact that I’m another year older, I’ll enjoy it that I still produce fruit and enjoy the gray hair of experience--the splendor of the old. What else can I do? The alternative is to not grow older, and I’m not ready for that. So, I’ll enjoy tomorrow. Open presents, cards, and share a special meal with family.
