This day, eleven years ago now, on a Friday in January, I experienced loss. I knew I would be a different person. A person who knows sorrow. A person who knows joy. A person who knows comfort.
We've nearly covered all of the areas to make your marriage a Charmed Marriage. Our number Seven should be fun for both of you and not difficult to complete.
I wish you a blessed, thoughtful Christmas. You may not feel merry, but hopeful for the healing that will come. I promise it will come.
What is your morning routine? Do you read the newspaper, listen to the news, or social media before going to God? Perhaps like me, you've gotten things in the wrong order.
Enjoy the day after Thanksgiving. Feast again on the left-overs from yesterday's Thanksgiving meal. Put up your decorations for Christmas if that is your custom. And give thanks. The eternal battle is won!
We often say we are standing on the shoulders of our previous mates. Our previous marriages have benefitted this marriage.
I was helped by turning to God's word instead of man's word and I was encouraged! I'm still concerned how this election turns out. We still must pray and I will. Will you join me? And please, take the time to vote and be informed.
