After a day or so, we began to look at that accident as a miracle from God. Only the night before the accident, my husband installed a roll bar to protect the driver and passenger from serious injury if the car was overturned with its soft roadster top.

Moving Forward

That statement is true, dear friend who might be in the early stages of grief. The terrible times will ease. Your sorrow does abate. It doesn’t fully leave you, but that terrible grip of the sorrow begins to fade. It takes time, yes. But more than time, it takes work.

That is the theme of my life. I can see how faithful God has been to me.....and how much hope is in my life. I wouldn’t be honest if I didn’t admit sometimes I wonder what’s around the next bend in the road, because loving brings hurt and sorrow. But for today, I will reflect on the hope God has given me and the many blessings He has surrounded me with.
