Lavishing Love
I hope these words might help you understand just a little how much God the Father, and His Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit love us.

Often we look to humans to provide the love each one of us needs and craves. Sometimes we can be disappointed in how they respond to us.
You can’t undo the past. You may wonder if God can ever forgive you. Let me tell you, He does forgive you.
I won't tell you who are grieving this dark January morning, that our grief will immediately be gone. But in the grief, I found reaching out to God helped assuage that grief.
Tonight, as we celebrate Jesus' birth--whether it took place on this exact date--or another date, I plan to reflect on the fact that He did come.
In the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season, I plan to take the time and think about what the prophet advises the Jews upon their return from exile and apply to myself.
I also realized once again, that prayer is important and God hears every one of them. He answers but not always in the time we think it should happen. Sometimes as in my case it was “wait.”
We don't know what's around the next corner, but we do know who will carry and deliver us. That's a promise for you, too.
Yes his love does endure forever. In the lean times. The lonely times. The in-between times.
I know from my own experience, not all days are happy days. Not always do we want to give thanks.
